Multiple Intelligences

I wish, parents, teachers, and elders understand the value of Multiple Intelligences - which can help develop and utilize "analytical, creative, practical and wisdom-based skills both in children, youth and adults alike (p.311).

Intelligence is a "construct humans have invented to explain why some people are better at performing some classes of tasks than others. (p. 309)

Successful Intelligence is one's ability to choose, reevaluate and attain one's goals in life within one's societal context. A successful intelligent person recognizes "his or her strengths and weaknesses and then capitalizes on his or her strengths while compensating for or correcting weaknesses. They do so through a combination of analytical, creative practical and wisdom-based ethical skills. (p. 308).

Social Intelligence is  "an ability to reason about emotions".

Personal Intelligence is "the capacity to understand personality in oneself and others.

Dialogue

Dialogue is a shared inquiry. A way of thinking and reflecting together. It is a living inquiry within and between people. It is honouring the understanding in relationship with another. It is the cleanest, most rewarding form of listening you will ever experience. Like riding a bicycle, it can’t be learned except by engaging in it. It seeks to understand differences while appreciating commonness.
